Track endurance
The Omnium sits at the center of the Olympic project. Scratch, Elimination and Points racing demand reading the race, deciding under pressure and recovering between efforts.
Meet the Venezuelan athlete building a career across track endurance, road racing and community cycling.
CLEVER MARTÍNEZ / VENI'm Clever. A Venezuelan racer, a coach, and a believer in what a bicycle can change.
Based in Colorado Springs and racing for Foundation Cycling NYC, I compete in track endurance and road criteriums. The Omnium is at the heart of my ambition: to earn my place on the Olympic stage and fight for a medal at Los Angeles 2028.
My journey has taken me from national titles to international podiums and the top of the UCI endurance ranking. Every race is a chance to carry Venezuela forward. Every day off the start line is a chance to open the sport to someone else.

Criteriums combine speed, positioning and teamwork. The overall victory at the 2023 Vuelta a Venezuela adds a stage-racing chapter to a career shaped by more than one format.
In Colorado Springs, work with Kids on Bikes and The Pedal Station connects professional racing experience with access to cycling and the development of young riders.

Representing Venezuela connects the racing, the Olympic ambition and the desire to open doors for other riders. The purpose extends beyond the finish line.
